 I've been woodworking for a little under two years, and I operate a small commissions operation out of my garage (mostly jewelry boxes, frames, and other smaller items). I recently decided to make a full bedroom suite for my little girl who is leaving her crib. I have always struggled with my router. I know what a versatile tool they can be, but I haven't had enough confidence to really "unlock" it, because the router is so easily bumped or angled incorrectly, so I often plugged it into my router table and forgot about it. I needed to do some mortise and tenon work on some huge boards, so I picked this up. What a game changer! This lets me use my plunge router with a level of comfort that wasn't there before. The guide is rigid and very intuitive to use. I took it out of the box and was cutting perfectly accurate mortises in literal minutes. It does have a bit more plastic than I'd like, but that hasn't proved to be an issue. Its weight is good, and the material that the fence is made from slides along wood nicely. Overall, I strongly recommend picking this up. It has helped me out big time.
